Unser Institut wurde aus Mitgliedern des Instituts für Wirtschaft, Politik und Recht (H365) sowie aus Mitgliedern des Instituts für Agrarökonomik (H 355) gebildet. Die Homepage ist im Umbau begriffen

Unsere Institutsbibliothek wurde mit den Bibliotheken der Institute für Agrarökonomik und Sozioökonomik der Forst- und Holzwirtschaft zur Fachbibliothek für Sozial-, Wirtschafts- und Rechtswissenschaften (SOWIRE) verbunden. Diese befindet sich im Keller des Adolf von Guttenberghaus (Feistmantelstrasse 4). Die Entlehnung erfolgt nur mehr über die Fachbibliothek.

Prüfungstermin VWL: Termine nach dem neuen Modus am PC: PC-Raum DG/08, Guttenberghaus ab Mittwoch 18. Februar 2004 jeweils 14-tägig, 10 Uhr und 11 Uhr. ONLINE MUSTERTEST und Prüfungsanmeldung neu (Betrifft die Vorlesungen: VO 365 025, VO 365 085, VO 365 095, VO 365 104, VO 365 105, VO 365 106, 365 111, VO 365 306, VO 365 324).
Erfahrungsgemäß melden sich viele Studenten erst kurz vor Ende der An- und Abmeldefrist von der jeweiligen Prüfung wieder ab. Es gibt daher oft am Ende der Anmeldefrist (2 Tage vor dem Termin) wieder freie Plätze!! Bitte auch diese Möglichkeit nutzen!

Prof. Markus F. Hofreither

WPR is trainig all students of our university in introductory courses in economics and Austrian constitutional and administrative law and is offering various ag-econ courses for students specialising in agricultural economics. Courses on various topics of law, politics, and several other fields are given for students who are in their later terms. Check the education section to see which lectures are scheduled this term.

Research at WPR spans from agricultural and environmental economics with a bias towards welfare economics over rural sociology, constitutional, environmental, (and European) law to environmental politics. Information about current research projects is available in the staff section . Most of the research projects are documented in the WPR-Discussion Paper Series. You are invited to order a copy or to download some of the Discussion Papers .
